TERRA Songwriting Retreat
July 16 - 19, 2026
We're still finalizing the location for our July retreat - and we take that seriously. The right property isn't just a place to sleep. It shapes what the writing feels like, what conversations happen, and what you carry home. We'll announce the location as soon as it's confirmed.
July 16–19. Registration open.
What to Expect
TERRA retreats aren't a class or a conference. They're a few days away with people who take songwriting as seriously as you do.
Over three nights, a small group of writers will gather to work. Expect personal writing time, curated conversations on songwriting, group listening sessions, co-writing, and guided exercises designed to break through the barriers that follow you home. Most attendees leave with 8-10 new songs. Want to hear what past attendees have made? Listen to Alumni Releases →
The cabin is intentional - natural property, real disconnection, modern comfort. A new environment gives your mind new permission.
Small groups are intentional too. Everyone is heard. Everyone contributes.
All levels welcome, from writers just finding their voice to working musicians looking for a room that pushes them. We only ask that you come ready to work, collaborate, and grow.

“I attended the June 2022 retreat with TERRA and I can thoroughly say it changed my life.I was a very insecure, closeted songwriter that could never finish anything because I always felt blocked and never good enough. Then by some miracle, things finally clicked at the retreat. I didn’t just finish a song, I finished more than a handful. I found a new confidence in myself and my peers were such a huge part of that. Elijah was so inspiring and gave us such a safe space to be as authentic as we wanted. We laughed, we cried, it was the best experience I’ve ever had. 10000/10 recommend a retreat with Elijah no matter how new or advanced you are in music or songwriting. All are welcome.”
